Description What to say---Daughter is in final year of high school and heading off for college next year--she said "Dad can you sell my beanie baby collection so I can get some money for college?" Of course I was devastated--she loved those things growing up and could always count on getting her one for Christmas and birthdays, etc!! My how they grow up fast!! All 50 are retired--limited duplication (last and ONLY 3 in bird category)--that's 47 different including 1 large QUACKERS!! All tags are present, original, and in excellent condition. Some tags have protectors. Other information--I see in descriptions what people are writing--these were stored in cool dry environment--NO SMOKING (she is under 18--SO there better be NO SMOKING!! That's an LOL!!) and NO Direct SUNLIGHT. All to most all are in pristine and like-new condition--some were in cases and they had very limited dust exposure over the lat 5 to 15 years. Some are RARE (I am told--I personally do not know which are--BUT I AM SURE THAT, if YOU are reading this and checking it out, THAT YOU PROBABLY KNOW WHAT IS RARE and WHAT is COMMON!!--MOST are common--BUT there are 5 bears in excellent condition (listed at very end of description--before doubles--they all have tag protectors that I am told qualify as RARE) the oldestone listed is LEGS the FROG--1993 (15 years old) in exceptional condition (he was actually in a plastic case--he was a favorite--I think one of her first--right after she was born in 1991!!!) The newest is Decade, a BEAR--from 2003 (5 years old). FYI on the BEARS---I am told (but not certain) that their respective catalog replacement values are approx $10 to $30 EACH!! To put that in perspective--if I take the highest quoted catalog value, for the 5--of $30 each--that is more than the opening BID for value--AND like getting the other 45 FREE!!! What else can I say--average price new was about $10 each--some bigger and more rare were $20-$30 and some of the commons were $4 to $8 each!! Opening bid is less than $4 a piece for the lot!!! Buy the lot NOW at less than $7 each and I will insure/ship for FREE otherwise regular shipping applies and insurance is included in that price. I will run this lot for 4 weeks--there will be slight fee increases/adjustments each time I have to relist--to cover excessive ebay fees.
