Description
I am selling these tricks as I cannot do shows anymore. This is the milk in lightbulb trick. This is a very fun trick, and can also be used as a segway to other tricks, as well as provide a nice bit of performance area lighting. This was issued for a small time and I think actually looks like a lamp one might use. The Louis Tannen catalogue descrives this model as : Maximilliano Londono's name is really getting around, even though it is so hard to spell. he has been very prolific, of late, creating quality magic. here's his new biggie. after a standard milk vanish, (milk pitcher, wonder glass, foo can, etc) attention is called to a beatiful table lamp , which it lit. Suddenly, the light goes out, the shade is removed and when the bulb is unscrewed the milk is found in the bulb!. Think about it. a bulb full of milk can't light up, can it? this is the best model ever made, and we bet you'll use it for a reading lamp in your home (I did, once) between shows, because it looks so good as well as being super magic. The shade is a standard Drum shade and I would reccomend getting this re-done, since the existing shade is old and I augmented it to hide a stain. The original shade is thick paper and became stained. I removed the top with the ferrul by pushing it down through the shade to access the sides. I then wrapped ribbbon, lengthwise, across the shade to hide the stain, and then pulled the top back up and sealed the top with a small line of silicone. The shade itself makes the shape as there is a metal ring on the top and bottom of the shade that are connected by the shade itself. Part of the secret is contained in the part with the ferrul, and it not attached to the sides at all, so if you wanted a different shade altogether you could replace it cheaply, provided you keep the top bit. The operation is simplicity itself, turn off the lamp, take off the shade, unscrew the bulb, and pour out the milk. I have included pictures of how this can be reduced in size for packing, this is how I used pack this trick.
