Dark Green' Description A local hobby store owner (Cary, North Carolina, USA ) has asked me to post for sale his prized Marklin E-Lok made in 1951 (we think).  It shows ONLY signs of being run and I test ran it, myself, on my home layout.  The engine needs to be internally cleaned and lubricated.  The reversing relay is a little sluggish (sometimes it needs more than one "jolt") but does work.  The lighting works perfectly and the pantographs are intact and no signs of tracking die Oberleitnung (catenary) in the past. This engine is pristine.  With the exception of showing signs of slight use on the pick-up shoes, it could be rated as virtually new.  It will be supplied in the original box as shown in the pictures. KOLL's Preis Katalog, (2005 issue), rates this loco at 3200 Euros- approximtely $4700.00 at todays exchange rate. (ref: Page 243 of KOLLS Katalog).
