When I purchased these, I was told they were from the 1970s and were a display in a department store.  They are absolutely fabulous and a must for any Sesame Street collector. They would also be cute in a playroom or nursery. I am sad to see them go, but I simply do not have enough space to keep them. They have been stored in plastic for the past few years. Of course due to the age of them, there is some wear--but that is to be expected and could easiy be touched up. Overall they are in good shape.
