This is my third, and surely final, example of this set. It is as beautiful as they come. The other two sets that I have owned, never assembled, and sold, were always a bit lacking in their "MISB" quality. I am very fussy. One set even arrived with one of the stickers removed from the sticker sheet. In all of the handling over the years, the movement of the loose parts in the box caused one of the stickers to "catch" on a part and it lifted off of the sheet. I kept searching, and spending, until I found THIS set. Looking at the pictures will tell the story. It is in marvelous condition! You may be concerned that the box is not sealed. I was the one who opened the box. I wanted to check the contents because I was going to build the set. Well, unless you intend to re-sell this set, this is to your advantage. I was able to see that EVERYTHING is present, and all is beautiful. Look at the picture of the sticker sheet, and recall what I wrote above. This one is PERFECT! And I have placed the sheet inside the special "extra parts" ordering form, and then placed the form inside the building manual. THEN, I have placed the manual, ordering form, and the small catalog inside a brown envelope which you will find stored in the box, UNDER the base plates. This will assure that you will receive it in perfect condition as well. And, of course, all internal boxes and polybags are still factory sealed. So then, why does it "break my heart"? After attending several Lego train show events and seeing the shuttle perform, I was determined to add this set to my collection. And now I finally had a beautiful one. But the economic conditions have changed, so I have to sell it. That, plus the fact that I have no room to display it in my house, has brought me to this point. I have several Lego train sets that also need space for a layout to run on, but at least the trains look good as static displays on a shelf. The shuttle would not be happy there. I would like to say that bidding will start low, but it will not. There is also a fairly high reserve price. But, given the condition and limited availability of this set, I believe the pricing is fair. Plus, if you use the "Buy-It-Now" option, insured shipping by USPS Priority Mail will be free to any destination serviced by the U.S.Postal System.
