Large Antique 2 Inch German Swirl Marble Marbles Start Price USD 189.00 Current Price USD 189.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Saturday, September 06, 2008 End Time Saturday, September 13, 2008 Location Saint Charles, MO See more about 'Large Antique 2 Inch German Swirl Marble Marbles' Description Please read the entire add carefully.  I'm selling my father's marble collection.  I have well over 10,000 marbles to move so you will be seeing more as my time allows.  This auction is for only one (1) marble (see detailed pictures and description).  I have what I believe to be a two (2) inch open core German Swirl.  This marble is very clear and does contain some light chipping.  Swirl in center is red.orange, royal blue, grass green and yellow.  The outer swirl is white and yellow and is deeply embedded beneath the glass.  This assessment is based on my reading and comparing from a book entitled "Collecting Antique Marbles" by Paul Baumann.  I used a Berol Rapi-Design Large Circle template to measure the marble size so it should be right on.  The description contained in this auction is provided to the best of my ability.  I am not an expert on marbles like my father was.  I will try to answer your questions in a timely manner.  Please ask questions early and always before bidding.  Please check out my other auctions.  I will discount shipping if you win more than one of my auctions.  Payment by U.
