Up for bids today is a very hard to find, LOT of (4) collectible vintage British lead circus performers. Includes a boxing Kangaroo wearing boxing gloves, a Clown in green with mechanical moving arms and wearing boxing gloves, another clown in red pantaloons and lastly the MAN ON STILTS in bright yellow pants and a blue hat. He measures 4 1/2" while the others about 2 1/2" tall. ALL ORIGINAL PAINT BRITAINS #447B and 451B THE PRE-WAR 1936 CIRCUS SERIES. These pieces are found on page 243 of “BRITAINS CIVILIAN TOY FIGURES” SCHIFFER 2002. Condition is good as seen. No problems. Reserve is just my investment.
