Well it’s that time of year again and every now and again I decide to sell a set from my own personal collection and this fine piece if one of those setss. This is the Lionel 1805 Land Sea and Air Gift pack from 1960. This is the rarest of all the postwar military sets. The set is completely original and grades in full mint unrun condition graded by TCA standards and I am a TCA member. This is an original non put together set. I have displayed this set on track in my display case for years so you will the slightest track marks on the wheels from display purposes only but the wheels have that coal black patina to them. The set consists of the 44 olive drab USMC missile launching engine, 3429 USMC helicopter car, 6640 rocket launching car, 3820 sub car, and the 6824 caboose with stretchers and oxygen tanks. The 44 engine has all steps intact and some slight box rub on the top domes as this was very common for these engines in this type of box. The set is complete and all cars have their instruction sheet and the uncut billboards, 1960 catalog and accessory catalog, the How to Operate Lionel Trains operating booklet, plus I am including a brand new old stock 443 Missile Launching Platform set with a perfect 10 box. The set box has sustained some wear over the years but still grades an 8/10 with all flaps and liner and no tape. This is the nicest 1805 I have ever come across in 20 years of collecting Lionel Postwar Trains. I have loaded 6 photos so be patient and see them all.
