In 1975, Amtrak began repainting some of those in its “Phase I” livery, and this LGB/Aster model is a replica of Amtrak loco 927 in those colors. Naturally, this handcrafted model offers both LGB quality and LGB technology, like an onboard MTS decoder, digital sound, directional lighting and powerful, twin Bühler motors.
