Description
MINT HIGH QUALITY JIGSAW PUZZLES DIRECT FROM JAPAN   ALL BRAND NEW AND STILL IN SHRINKWRAP   Choose Whatever You Like From a List of 100's   Note to Buyers:  DO NOT CLICK "BUY IT NOW."  Please read the description below carefully.   What is being offered here is a rare opportunity to obtain unique, high quality jigsaw puzzles produced in Japan that are not available outside the country.  The following explains how the system works and includes all of the usual eBay safeguards for buyer protection. To help you better understand who I am and how this works, please check my profile page on eBay at:  http://myworld.ebay.com/mizumicollection   Japan produces some of the best quality jigsaw puzzles in the world, even rivaling Ravensburger.  The pieces are thick and the print board for graphics is top quality.  The cut is clean and razor tight, and the pieces are laid out in corner-to-corner grid format with a variety ranging from 0-point to 4-point.  If you are becoming weary of seeing the same puzzles over and over on eBay, there is also a broad selection of themes and designs to choose from that I guarantee you have not seen before.  It's definitely worth a look. Although Japanese puzzles are expensive relatively speaking, if you compare the prices I can make available, I would be surprised to learn that there is a cheaper source anywhere else (shop around and I think you will see this is true).  One reason for this is because the big 4 makers in Japan (Beverly, AppleOne, Yanoman and Epoch) together with the best online sellers do not market internationally.  So anybody intermediating to persons outside Japan is charging a huge mark-up. Here's how the system works: Click on the following link to go to Jigsaw Club, the best online seller of jigsaw puzzles in Japan (or copy and paste it into your browser if the hyperlink does not work):  http://www.jigsaw.jp/ This site is in Japanese, but don't fret because you can still use it.  As you look at the upper left corner of the page, you will see a search field with a "Go" just underneath it.  If you plug in "1000" and click "Go," it will bring up Page 1 of 81 pages of individual puzzles (not all are 1000 pc however, so you have to look carefully).  You can try other searches too such as "2000" and "1500" which will bring up only 10 pages and 5 pages, respectively.  At the bottom of the page are the links to the other pages, or you can click "次へ" to advance to the next page. A typical listing looks like this: 1000ピース 商品番号 C11-322 サイズ 50×75cm 桜 ●販売価格:2,205 円 税込(定価:3,150 円) 30%引き 11月10日 発売予定 予約承り中※まれに入荷が遅れる場合がございます。どうかご了承ください。めざせパズルの達人! Clicking on the picture will bring up a larger picture, and clicking on it again will bring up an even larger one (try clicking on this picture).  The number immediately to the right of the picture is the piece count, followed by the Serial No. (C11-322) and the size (about 20" x 30").  The listed price for this is 2,205 yen (very cheap compared to the cost of the puzzle over Amazon Japan or in a store (shown as 3,150 yen here). If you see something you like, you can make a note of the Serial No. which I can then use in the search field to locate it.  The next step is to contact me using "Ask Seller a Question" for a full quotation that includes shipping.  But please note, if the total value of the puzzles you select is 7,350 yen or less, the online seller will charge about $6.00 in domestic shipping to me which I will pass along to you. Minimum Order Size:  1 puzzle (but note the added domestic delivery charge of $6.00 to me that I will have to pass on to you). Cost of Puzzles:   The basic cost without shipping is the actual cost plus 25% (still cheaper than Amazon.Japan or in the stores here).  I will convert this amount to US dollars using the rate at the time I prepare the quotation taken from the following source under "Last Trade":  http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=USDJPY=X&t=5d&l=on&z=m&q=l&c Shipping Cost:  $13 to $18 per puzzle depending on the size (but if actual shipping cost turns out to be substantially lower I will refund some of this back to you).  A cheaper alternative is simple surface mail which typically takes 4-8 weeks.  This is something we can discuss prior to creating the listing for you on eBay. Preparation of Custom "Buy It Now" Listing on eBay:  I will prepare a "Buy It Now" listing for you on eBay that includes the basic cost plus shipping and send the Item No. and link to your email address.  You can then complete the sale in the normal manner or ask for more information and any modifications of the listing (including more puzzles if you want). What I Do After Payment:  Once payment clears to my PalPal account, I will immediately order the puzzles from the online seller.  It will take about a week at the most for me to receive them (although sometimes they are out of stock and it might take a short spell to get it in again).  I will then take a photo and send this to your email address.  If you OK what you see, I will then send the puzzles by SAL which usually takes about 2 weeks to arrive (or surface mail, see below), and send a message that the puzzles have been sent.  I will include the purchase order I receive from the online seller with the puzzles. Feedback:  I will leave positive feedback as soon as the payment clears.  You can confirm receipt of delivery by leaving feedback from your side.  If you are tempted to leave something other than positive feedback, please give me a chance to make good on any problems first (I'm pretty proud of my 100% rating). Payment:  PAYPAL Only. Shipping:   By SAL (which means Surface-Air-Land).  This does not include any tracking or confirmation of delivery.  It typically takes about 2 weeks and I will send a confirmation email on the day it goes into the mail.  Because of the low weight limitation (2.0 kg), each puzzle must be sent separately.  As I mentioned above, a cheaper alternative is simple surface mail which typically takes 4-8 weeks.  The trip can be rougher but a group of puzzles can be sent together to substantially reduce the cost.  Please let me know if you are interested in this alternative. Total Time:  Expect everything to take about 3 weeks from the time of purchase to arrival -- 1 week from the online seller to me and 2 weeks by SAL to you (or as much as 2 months, plus or minus, if using regular surface mail). Buyer's Responsibility to Provide Correct Address:  Strange as this may appear, it has actually happened on more than one occasion that buyers have provided incorrect information.  So please be sure you have properly registered the correct address information with eBay. Note About Time Zone Differences:  Please bear in mind that I am located in Japan.  So because of the time zone difference, it might take a little while for me to respond to inquiries.  I'll do my best to be prompt.   Thanks for taking time to read through everything.  By all means, please contact me if you have any questions.  I hope you see something you like.
