He's No. 1086 of a limited edition of 1,921 pieces worldwide. He's an adorable white mohair bear and he's a growler, too ... what a cutie!     In 1999, Margarete Steiff GmbH launched a series of exceptional replicas of Teddy bears, remarkable not only for their size, but also for their winning expressions and unique history. Making only one giant limited edition bear each year. In 2004 this white Teddy bear with brown-black glass eyes was presented to delight all bear lovers. This is one of the largest limited editions bears made for this year and used as a store display for most Steiff club stores for 2004!     This exceptional Teddy bear was crafted by hand from finest mohair in the traditional manner, with his brown nose and claws being stitched by hand too. His brown-black glass eyes shine merrily and in his left ear he has a white, consecutively numbered ear tag and a gold-plated "Button In Ear". To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the invention of the "Button In Ear" brand by Franz Steiff, this button bears the very first motif used for Steiff button trademarks, namely an elephant with an S-shaped trunk.     Bear is in excellent like-new condition, with no damage or wear. His growler works great. He's a little dusty, but in overall great shape, and is sold "as is". We are a Steiff Club store and he is new on our shelf, dust and all. See pictures for details.
