The set is 100% complete with ALL the original parts and the box. The only thing missing from the original set is the instruction booklet. It's in remarkably good condition for its age but it does have some flaws. As you can see in the large pictures I've posted, there is some staining on the floor of the wagon, but it's really not bad at all. The removeable lid of the wagon also shows some light staining, but again it is nothing major. Some of the performers have minor litho wear, but none are bad and none are broken. That said, this is in pretty terrific shape for a 46 year old toy. There are no breaks or cracks in the wood. The lithos on the wagon, lid and performers are all complete showing only minor wear. Even the wheel lithos (which are usually missing) are well attached and in very nice shape. The paint on the wagon, lid and red ladders is mostly complete with just a very few small areas of wear. All the performers have nice tight joints so they can easily be posed. The monkey has lost his original pipe cleaner tail, so I've attached a brand new one. The two-part yellow circus ring has an excellent litho with very few stains and no bubbles on it. The rest of the plastic accessories are in great shape as well. No damage to report on any of them. And yes, the always hard to find red ball and black tub are included. Finally, the box. It is not in great condition. As shown in the pictures, it has considerable tape on it and the edge of the tuck-in flap is mostly missing. Still, it's unusual to find the box in any condition, and this one has nice front graphics so it should display quite well.
