She is really unique. Her head feels like it is papier mache and she has a cloth body. Her body looks newer than the rest of her.  She is wearing a beautiful old long flowered dress with old green velvet trim. She has all kinds of strings but the controls are missing. I have just enjoyed having her sit on my divan. She makes a wonderful drama queen as you can see so she is fun to have around. Her beautiful dress has some stains but you have to look really hard to find them. The green velvet trim on her dress has faded and yellowed with age and it has some soiling - it appears to be a very old dress. The doll's face has some shelf dust and soil marks as well. The back of her cloth body has some soiling too but the front part of her body and her legs hands, feet and neck are pretty clean. Her hands and neck are made of felt. She would need to be restrung. Her pretty face has been over-painted and it is wonderful. Her hair is neat the way it peeks out of her green velvet hat. I had to prop her head in many different positions in order to take pictures. Because she is a puppet her head does not stay up on its own. She measures about 32" long. She is really something and she makes a wonderful drama queen. She seems to take on different personalities with each look. She is gorgeous! A great find. Place a Bid!
