Description FISHER PRICE VINTAGE LITTLE PEOPLE 1988 CLASSIC EDITION CASTLE 993 click picture to enlarge Up for auction I have THIS FISHER PRICE LITTLE PEOPLE 1988 ClassicCollector Edition Castle #993. THIS DESCRIPTION IS FROM THIS OLD TOY TELLS THE DIFFERENCES IN THIS CLASSIC EDITION...Large Castle with a green base, paper litho walls with grey and brown stone designs. The Castle has 4 yellow/tan towers WITHOUT a flag on the tallest tower. The front of the castle has a lowered mote with blue paper litho "water" designs on the bottom. The front has a yellow wood-simulated drawbridge that can be raised/lowered and makes a ratchet sound as it moves. There are 2 windows above the drawbridge, and a red roof above the windows. The front tower has a yellow "prison bar" by the mote that can be raised. The top of the tower has a yellow wood-simulated trap door that drops to the prison below. A yellow pull-hook handle activates a sliding yellow secret passageway door on side of base. The inside of the Castle has a sliding gray staircase. "From This Old Toy"The Carriage has a White base, yellow top, that rolls on 4 turquoise wagon wheels. 6 Original Little People figures. Each figure has a plastic body and a plastic head: Mauve-body king wearing a yellow crown Mauve-body queen wearing a yellow crown Turquoise-body prince wearing a yellow crown Turquoise-body princess wearing a yellow crown (princess has blonde hair in buns on each side of her head, like the queen's hair) Silver knight wearing a silver helmet. Light green body woodsman wearing a lime green cap. The woodsman's collar looks like a farmer's scarf. These royal people have plastic bodies and plastic heads. The Pink dragon with a jointed head, tail, arms and legs. He has yellow spots on his shoulders and hips and a row of turquoise scales down his neck and tail. He also has long turquoise ears that had a strong tendency to break off. A dragon with ears intact is very hard to find. This dragon has his ears. The horses have their ears, this set is in extremly great played with condition. There is still foam on the beds, the people are excellent as are the pieces...the Castle itself has very few play scuffs but has a few small ones and the floor where the stairs swing out shows a few marks. Not as bad as I have seen with others. The moat is very good.THERE IS A BOX IT IS NOT GREAT BUT IT IS THE 1988 CLASSIC COLLECTOR EDITION BOX  it says that on the box. THE BOX IS MISSING THE END FLAPS ON ONE SIDE...IT SHOWS WEAR AND HAS TAPE ON IT. SUPER-SIZE THE PICTURES TO SEE THE CONDITION OF EVERYTHING.
