Affectionately known as the “Lady of the Lake”, the TSS Earnslaw has a special place in the hearts of Queenstown people. She has been transporting goods to remote settlements and conveying passengers on beautiful Lake Wakatipu since 1912. Our Earnslaw model is made of only the highest materials such as rosewood, mahogany, teak, ebony, and many more. It is painted in solid red and white color. The detail is amazing: tall wooden towers connected to each other by rigging, hand built wooden benches, rope crane, see through 3-D upper and lower deck, metal and wooden fences on top deck, lower deck are surrounded with wooden fences, window are crafted to see-through, single propeller, and many more exclusive ornaments. This beautiful model is rested on a painted wooden stand with two firm crafted wooden poles sustaining it. To enhance its value and recognition, a golden metal plate embedded with “Earnslaw” is neatly glue to the stand. This model is completely hand built by skillful and creative master craftsmen; you will be amazed at how real it looks. Months of research goes into the planning of these model boats.
