A complete set consisting of all 32 pieces made in Japan between 1890 – 1930.     The Kings = 12” tall  The Queens = 11” tall The Bishops (men) = 8 1/2” tall The Knights (castle) = 8” tallThe Rooks (horsemen) = 6 1/2” tall The Pawns = 6” tall The Board = 33” x 33” (not original) I believe my terminology is correct. According to the appraisal firm, it is believed that this is NOT the original Board that came with the set.     PLEASE NOTE: it appears that two of the pieces may have had minor repairs and a few of the pieces have natural minor aging hairline cracks.
