Co.' Description For sale is a BUFFALO BILL cap gun, produced by Balantyne Mfg. Co. of Chicago, mid-20th century.  It is made of heavy stamped steel, and fires a roll of caps.  Its cylinder turns freely, is not involved in the firing sequence.  The gun is about 9 3/4" long.  There is absolutely no rust, no cracks or breaks, and the gun fires with a hard snap.  It has never fired a cap.  Its white plastic grip inserts are firm, and bear the raised bust of Buffalo Bill and Buffalo Bill lettering at the bottom.  The gun also has Balantyne Mfg. Co. Chicago, and 45 cal. stamped on the left side.  The Buffalo Bill comes with its holster, which has an embossed bust of Buffalo Bill at the front (very full and dramatic), and the words "HOWDY" at its top and BUFFALO BILL at the bottom.  It has three plastic ruby gemstones on its left, and white tassels off of a leather star below.  The holster and the belt that is with it have some dark staining at the bottom of the holster and at places along the belt.  The holster sewing is intact.
