Our Spektra ASA100-DX1 kit offers the brains of a 16 channel real time audio spectrum analyzer with 256 LED 7" X 7" display panel at a low cost.  The multiplexed output directly drives the included common cathode 16 X 16 LED array using less than 1 amp of current.  Additional LED display boards (up to three) can be daisy chained from one controller.  High current source drivers (up to 65 mA for each LED) and high current sink (up to 3 amps each channel) allow multiple LED's per "pixel" for poster size... even wall size audio spectrum displays! The ASA100-DX1 includes two high quality FR4 dual layer PCBs, all electronic components including FLASH programmed CPU, 256 premium diffused blue LEDs, full color installation manual, audio test CD (no signal generator required), 120VAC (12VDC 800 mA output) wall adapter rated for one display panel, 6' ribbon cable and premium quality silk screened enclosure for controller PCB.  You provide custom installation or enclosure for LED display board.   How the ASA100-DX1 performs when completed:   High quality active bandpass filters (Q4) incorporating 1% metal film resistors and premium Panasonic film capacitors.  All electrolytics are top of the line Panasonic devices.  No electrolytics are in the direct audio signal path.  Quality of filter output from 1kHz signal generator source can be seen in both dot and bar mode in the photos below.
