Burgess and Olin Stephens, RANGER was described by her skipper and owner Harold "Mike" Vanderbilt as the "Super J".  Alarmed by the strong showing of ENDEAVOUR in the 1934 Cup races, RANGER was a revolutionary design in J-Boats.  She not only defended the Cup in 1937, she dominated.  She destroyed ENDEAVOUR II in four straight races by some of the largest measures in Cup history.  She was broken up in 1941 to support the war effort.This is a Buy It Now item, so we will ship it FREE!!!!!We will be listing other museum quality ship models in our Ebay Store over the next few days, so check in often.
