The action repeats itself, as the long running, pendulum regulated mechanism slowly unwinds. The soccer player figure's arms are free swinging, but are not designed to be activated by mechanism. This model was first produced the late 1920s but was soon replaced by a less expensive version, one in which only the figure remained the way you see it here, while the mechanism housing, the ramp tower, as well as the base were all painted a solid medium green - without any of the wonderful illustrations that make this particular toy so appealing. This multicolored version is only the third one I've ever seen, compared to the numerous solid green examples. Apart from the tiny bit of rub marks at the very top of the ramp (see closeup photo) the toy is quite mint, its colors fully vibrant and still with its clean, original glossy finish. It's obvious that the toy was barely used, as it still has its original 79 cents price tag. The toy comes with its extremely rare original box, which is missing an apron (plus another small portion) from the lid, but is in excellent condition otherwise. It is the first and only box I've ever seen for either versions of this toy. Please DO NOT USE THE SHIPPING CALCULATOR!
