About 8" overall. Drum top is 3 1/2" dia., 1" deep. Cardboard sides decorated with Indian motifs and rickrack edges. Each side has a nail pushed in that holds the strings that dangle. Front and back are clear celluloid with painted design and interior Indian figure is celluloid. When you shake the toy, the Indian figure hits the celluloid covers and makes a drum beating sound. Indian figure is about 2" tall and is two dimensional.
