The paint scheme has been faithfully reproduced. The details are impressive as you can see from the pictures.  It measures a phenomenal 39" in length and 12 1/2" in height.  Wooden display base is included.  This model is shipped fully assembled.USS MISSOURI (BB-63) was the last battleship built by the US Navy.  She was commissioned in 1944.  In World War II, she fought at Iwo Jima, Okinawa, and bombarded the home islands of Japan.  The official surrender of Japan was signed on her decks, conducted by General Douglas MacArthur.  But she wasn't quite done.  She served in the Korean War and was decommissioned in 1955.  Under President Ronald Reagon, she was brought back into service in 1984 and served in the 1991 Gulf War.  She earned a total of 11 battle stars over the course of her service.  In 1998, she went to Pearl Harbor, where she serves over her predessessor, USS ARIZONA, as a symbol of the beginning and the end of the Second World War in the Pacific.This is a Buy It Now item, so we will ship it FREE!!!!!We have a number of museum quality wooden ship models listed in our Ebay store, so check in often.
