Description
pb1950sailing Store ~TALL SHIP CHRISTIAN RADICH WOODEN SHIP MODEL 33"~ Hi, and welcome to our Ebay store. You are considering a fabulous value in a museum quality ship model. It is the famous Tall Ship CHRISTIAN RADICH and it is striking! Amazingly beautiful in solid cherry and other hardwoods. The best plank on frame construction. The paint scheme has been faithfully reproduced. The model was built from the original plans. The details are impressive as you can see from the pictures. It measures an impressive 33.5" in length, 27" in height and 5.5" in depth. Wooden display base with brass nameplate included. This model is shipped fully assembled. CHRISTIAN RADICH was launched in 1937 in Norway as a sail training ship. In 1939, she sailed to New York for the World's Fair. Captured by the Germans in 1940, she was found capsized and stripped of all her fixtures in 1945. A complete refitting ensued and she was once again sailing as a training ship in 1947. For the last several decades, she has been a prominent participent in Tall Ship extravaganzas around the world. She won the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race in 2007.This is a Fixed Price Item, so we will ship it FREE!!!We have a number of museum quality wooden ship models listed in our Ebay store, so check in often.
